LED badge kit for VW ID.4 compatible with cars equipped with front LED bars

Front LED badge plug-and-play kit for Volkswagen ID.4. This kit can be installed on ID.4s that already have LED front bars only. The kit includes:

- front LED badge

- two custom-made Y-split wire harnesses 

- 3 bolts with pre applied thread locker to secure the LED badge to the front grill

All 2021 first editions were sold in the USA without LED front badge and many of us felt like VW dropped the ball on this one. I created a harness that is plug-and-play and is shipped with the original ID.4 LED badge. In this video, I show you guys how to install a front LED badge onto VW ID.4 with LED light bars.
1. Remove the non-lit badge by pushing onto the teeth and pushing it out.
2. Guide the whole ring of the LED badge through the opening making sure it does not catch on anything
3. Gently push in the LED badge until it clicks
4. Install the top bolt with 8mm socket or open wrench
5. Unplug one connector from the light bar by pulling out the great security tab then squeezing it and pulling the connector out
6. Plug light bar connector into the LED badge harness(same side) until it clicks, push in security tab
7. Plug in the other end of the same harness into the light bar and push in the security tab.
8. Repeat for the other side.
9. Test: turn on the car, turn on headlights. Enjoy
